Hiring Solis Crew for your next Charter
Needless to say, a good crew makes all the difference while out on the water! Throughout our years operating charters throughout the Med, we’ve been lucky enough to work with some of the finest crews in the industry. We continue to build relationships with highly skilled professionals at every turn. Partnering with crew we know and trust guarantees a high-quality experience out on the water. This ensures that a charter meets our exacting standards.
All our skippers have excellent knowledge of the sailing areas and can work with you to tailor a route that fits your needs. Solis crew act as a kind of tour guide throughout the trip. Arranging excursions/ activities, making recommendations, helping you to book restaurants, and offering some sail training, if you’d like. Safety will be their chief concern. The charter crew will brief you on safe practices around the boat. Keep a close eye on weather conditions through the week, to make sure that you’re never caught out.
The charter hosts excel at preparing incredible food. Working with the resources available. They’ll provide a half-board service (breakfast & lunch) each day of the charter. Leaving you free to explore and dine out in the evenings. On top of the cooking element, the charter host will otherwise handle all of the provisioning, keep communal spaces clean & tidy, and assist the skipper with sailing & mooring the yacht.

All-Inclusive Charter Destinations
We intend to have Solis crews stationed in The North Ionian (Corfu), The South Ionian (Lefkas/ Preveza), and the Saronics (Athens) from June – September 2026. Each of these areas has a wide range of different yacht options available. Suitable for newcomers & seasoned sailors alike.
All three areas are characterised by short-hop sailing in sheltered waters. Ideal for those looking for a more laid-back time of things. Each has a wide range of different places you could visit in the course of a week’s sailing. With villages & small towns offset by quieter nights in secluded bays served by a remote Taverna.
Tried and tested, these routes are universally popular, and we’re certain that you’ll have a wonderful time sailing there with our exceptional crews!
Inclusive Packages
It can be difficult to get your head around all of the costs involved in arranging a yacht charter holiday. On top of the base charter fee, crew fees, and any number of obligatory extras, you have to consider running costs like: Fuel, moorings & provisioning. All of which adds up!
That’s exactly why we’re offering inclusive pricing when you hire Solis crew in Summer 2026. Avoid the headache and choose from one of the options below:
1 week skippered & Inclusive package – €2,750 (on top of the base charter rate) and this includes: Skipper fee, comfort pack & any other obligatory extras, fuel, moorings, 1x Stand-up paddleboard and Wifi.
1 week crewed & Inclusive package (1-5 pax) – €4,500 (on top of the base charter rate), to include: Skipper fee, host fee, provisioning for half-board service, comfort pack & any other obligatory extras, fuel, moorings, 1x Stand-up paddleboard and Wifi.
1 week crewed & Inclusive package (5-10 pax) – €4,750 (on top of the base charter rate), which will include: Skipper fee, host fee, provisioning for half-board service, comfort pack & any other obligatory extras, fuel, moorings, 1x Stand-up paddleboard and Wifi.
How do these packages compare to paying for everything seperately?
To give you a feel for how these packages might compare, the following is an accurate representation of the costs usually involved:
- Skipper fee: €1,330 – €1,540 per week
- Host fee: €1,260 – €1,470 per week
- Comfort pack & other obligatory extras: €350 – €550
- Fuel: €300 – €800 (Depending on yacht, route, generator use etc…)
- Moorings: €100 – €400 (Utilising mostly town quays)
- 1x Stand-up paddleboard & Wifi: €150 – €300 per week
- Provisioning: Varies depending on taste, number of people, level of service etc… But our best estimate would be anywhere from €800 – €1,500 for a standard half-board week.
