Highlights
Paxos
Considering the comparatively small size of the Island, Paxos has a whole lot to offer! The island has an air of sophistication and elegance which is quite charming to behold. The Western coastline is characterised by tall white cliffs that rise straight out of the sea with some spectacular anchorages nestled between. There are three main villages on the island; Gaios, Lakka and Longos. Each village is characterised by charming pastel coloured waterfronts but explore a little deeper and you’ll find yourself lost in a maze of delightful narrow back-roads.
Just to the South of Paxos is the islet of Antipaxos and here, like on the larger island, you will find amazing clear waters and a number of picturesque anchorages.
Kefalonia
The largest of the Ionian islands, Kefalonia was featured in the popular book and subsequent film ‘Captain Morelli’s Mandolin. The island always been a popular spot with holiday-goers and its a pleasure to explore the coastline on your own chartered yacht. The colourful buildings and stunning beaches down the West coast in particular make the island an incredible place to visit.
Stop in at the picturesque villages of Fiskardo and Assos at the Northern end of the island. Popular with the rich and famous – Fiskardo comes alive at night with a well populated waterfront, packed tavernas and bars full of happy patrons. Its a must-visit if you’re in the area!
