Overview
We are pleased to introduce ‘Mavilu’ a Lagoon 46 presently available to charter in the Greek Ionian.
Lagoon design their catamarans with charter in mind, their years of experience are plain to see from the first moment you step on-board. Every aspect of the Lagoon 46 has been considered within the context of a charter holiday. Whether you’re the type to lie under the sun with a book or would prefer to assist the skipper at the helm, sailing the islands is a wonderful experience on-board this luxurious sailing catamaran.
Added to our fleet in 2021, ‘Mavilu’ has four spacious guest cabins, allowing her to comfortably carry 8 guests at a time. Her innovative design makes great use of every inch of the space on-board. The modern interior ensures that you’ll travel in utmost comfort.
Equipped with a generous host of equipment ranging from a Generator operated Air-conditioning system down to a centre console dinghy sporting a 20 HP outboard engine. You’ll have access to all the amenities you would normally expect to find in a hotel.
Toys & Extras
Mavilu carries a whole host of toys & extras for you to enjoy. Regardless of which anchorage you find yourself in you’ll find that there’s plenty to keep everyone occupied!
Tender: We’ve sourced an excellent Dinghy for Mavilu in the form of the ‘Highfield 330 Sport.’ This sleek Rigid Inflatable provides a safe & stable means of carrying up to 4 passengers at a time. Equipped with a 30HP Outboard this RIB is capable of getting up to quite a pace and is sufficient for towing some water-sports equipment.
Doughnut – Tow toy: We carry an inflatable doughnut on Mavilu that is perfect for towing behind our Brig Tender. Its great fun to get towed around the bay on this inflatable toy.
SUP’s – Stand up paddle-board’s (Optional Extra): Stand up paddle-boards have become a charter staple in recent years. Paddle over to a nearby beach and have an explore or simply tie it to the boat and use it as a platform to sunbathe on.
Snorkelling & Swim Equipment: Swimming is a crucial part of the yacht charter holiday! We’ve got you covered on grace with a whole host of snorkelling & swim equipment including noodles & other floats for those less confident.
Electric Scooter’s (Optional Extra): Sometimes you want to get off the boat for a while and explore the islands. We carry two electric scooters on Swan, a pleasure to ride they increase your range somewhat! Perfect for any teenagers looking to escape for half an hour.
Sea Wing – Sea Scooter (Optional Extra): An exciting new addition to our range of optional extras. The Jobe Sea Wing Sea scooters are designed to pull you through the water with minimal effort. Paired with our snorkelling equipment you have a perfect means of exploring the under-water world!
Location
Stretching down the West coast of Greece, the Ionian islands are one of the Mediterranean’s most popular charter sailing destinations. Renowned for gentle afternoon breezes, calm seas and plenty of sunshine the Ionian is a playground for sailors to explore and make the most of.
Travel to the main islands of Corfu, Paxos, Lefkada, Kefalonia, Ithaca & Zakynthos as well as twenty smaller islands. Each of which features its own array of quaint villages, harbours and bays.
The Ionian sets itself apart with consistently perfect sailing conditions in sheltered seas. You will find innumerable safe anchorages with lush green surrounds. Its a perfect destination for fun & relaxed sailing holidays.
Mavilu is based in Preveza Marina (see map.)
Preveza is an excellent jumping off point, positioned centrally it allows access both North toward Paxos & Corfu or South towards Kefalonia & Zakynthos. The marina is just a 15 minute taxi ride from Preveza International Airport.
