St Barths
This prestigeous island jewel has earned its reputation as one of the most exclusive and luxurious getaways in the whole Caribbean chain. The tiny island of less than 10 square miles enchants with a green landscape, pristine white sand beaches and an impressive array of beach bars and great restaurants. The harbor side town of Gustavia is an excellent place to stroll. Streets here host a great collection of boutique shops & restaurants.
The island has been shaped by numerous different settlers coming and going through its history – but its the French heritage that hits hardest. You’ll find a certain ‘je ne sais quoi’ of delicious French flair on St Barths.
Ile de la Forchue
This beautiful uninhabited island is part of the St Barth’s nature reserve and makes an excellent stop for anyone on charter in the area. The island features a wonderfully protected anchorage where you can pick up a mooring ball free of charge and spend a night free of any light pollution.
The bay is encircled by the hills of a long dormant volcano crater and the island is a great place to explore by foot. Hike to the top of one of the islands five peaks for wonderful views out over the ocean and the surrounding islands. Because the area is protected you’ll see an abundance of sea life when you jump in for a swim!
